Pulled Pork Pizza
(with gluten free and dairy free suggestions)

Ingredients:
1 10” store-bought pizza crust (I like Schar gluten free pizza crust)
1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried Italian herbs such as basil, oregano, parsley
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ cup barbecue sauce (I prefer Memphis style sauces, but use your favorite)
1 cup pulled pork
½ cup grated cheese (mozzarella, cheddar/monterey jack would be great-can be dairy free if needed)
10 sliced dill pickles
10 sliced pepperoncinis
10 sliced jalapenos
½ red onion or shallot sliced
1 TBSP fresh parsley, chopped and grated parmesan (can be dairy free)
Directions:
Preheat the oven according to your crust’s package directions.
Put the pizza crust onto a pizza pan or sheet pan
Spread the barbecue sauce onto the crust leaving about a ½ inch perimeter, then brush olive oil around that perimeter.
Sprinkle the dried herbs/Italian seasoning and garlic powder around the perimeter of the crust
Top pizza with pulled pork, then top with grated cheese.
Top with sliced pepperoncinis, sliced jalapenos, red onion/shallot.
Bake according to pizza crust package directions.
Top with grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Serving suggestions:
Serve with coleslaw, salad, beans, queso, and chips for a fun game night or family celebration. Buon Appetito!
