Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

Yield: 6 Servings

Prep Time: 5-10 minutes

Cook Time: 20-25 minutes

Total Time: 25-35 minutes

 

Ingredients:

1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets (I sometimes buy florets in a bag when time is of the essence)

2 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 TBSP Ground Turmeric

1 tsp Ground Curry Powder

1 tsp Ground Cumin

¼ tsp Sea Salt

Cilantro for garnish

 

Directions:

1.       Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2.       Line a large sheet pan with aluminum foil. (This step is important because the turmeric will stain your pan, and it makes clean up a cinch)

3.       Spread cauliflower florets onto the sheet pan, and drizzle oil onto them evenly. Use your hands to insure that they are covered so the spices stick.

4.       Put the turmeric, curry powder, cumin, and salt in a small bowl. Stir to combine.

5.       Spread the spices on the cauliflower evenly.

6.       Bake for 20-25 minutes. Watch carefully starting at about 18 minutes. Once they are done to your liking, remove from the oven.

7.       Garnish with cilantro and serve.
